Montreal, September 8, 2025 – Phoenix Capital B.V., led by Alain Lemieux, announces a strategic investment of
CAD 2.5 million in Vertiko Mobilité, executed through 15,000 Sovereign Gold Reserve Tokens (SGRT), each with a
nominal value of USD 100, coupled with 7,500 Forest Carbon Reserve Credits (FCRT). This innovative transaction,
backed by tangible assets such as gold and carbon, marks a significant milestone in the integration of digital
monetary instruments into the financing of advanced aerial mobility.
Vertiko Mobilité accepted SGRT as an investment vehicle due to its stability, traceability, and gold backing, viewing
it as a credible and secure alternative to traditional financial instruments in support of its technological growth
strategy. (www.axis.gouv.cd)
“This SGRT/FCRT investment reflects our commitment to promoting modern, transparent financial solutions
backed by real assets, while supporting visionary companies like Vertiko Mobilité in the development of
sustainable and intelligent aerial technologies,” said Alain Lemieux, President of Phoenix Capital B.V.
Already the owner of Magni Ops Inc., a company specializing in complex drone operations, Phoenix Capital B.V.
expands its ecosystem by leveraging Vertiko Mobilité’s expertise to deploy innovative solutions for drone traffic
management (RTM) and beyond visual line of sight (BVLOS) operations.
Both companies plan to establish operations at the YMX Innovation Center, located at YMX International Aerocity
of Mirabel, by the end of the year. This technology hub will be dedicated to the development, integration, and
assembly of specialized drones, with applications in cargo and passenger transport, as well as security and
surveillance sectors.
“This investment is part of a shared vision: to build an innovation hub in Mirabel that will position Quebec among
the global leaders in advanced aerial mobility,” said Serge Fortier, VP Operations at Phoenix Capital B.V.
